About the story

Iris Bell came to Porto Sal to stop taking pictures. Mara Costa has been up at four every morning for eight years and doesn't intend to stop for anyone. One storm, one wrong key and one stolen photograph later, the summer starts to smell like bread — and neither of them is ready.
